T-CELL-15
Hi, I am looking to for Aqua Rite transformer measurements when measuring from PCB board where all transformer wires are connected. There should be primary and secondary measurements. And other thing what I like to know is that where this system reads salt level (Aqua Rite + Turbo Cell 15). Looking forward for community comments! Sorry for typo in subject field! Should be READINGS!
pooltech9
Verify 20-24 VAC between yellow wires, 1 on rectifier, 1 on board. Verify 18-33 VDC between black & red on board. No LED's? remove Display board, check for 3-5 VDC on pins 1 & 3 starting from the left. If voltage is good replace the display board. Check transformer? Turn off power, disconnect blue, white, gray, and violet wires from the main board and measure the following: Measure resistance between blue & white wires and violet & gray wires. They should be 2.0-2.9 Ohms. If either pair ohm out outside the range I've given you, you have a bad transformer.
T-CELL-15
Hi, Attached you have measurements: Between yellow wires, 1 on rectifier, 1 on board, output is 23.7 VAC. Between black & red on board, output is 31.4 VDC. I checked from display pins 1 & 3 and output is 3.45 VDC. My LED's are displaying power and so on. I checked transformer and results are: Resistance between blue & white wires is 2.4 - 2.5 Ohm. Resistance between violet & gray wires is 2.8 - 2.9 Ohm. So everything is in spec! But still I don't have clorine generated. I am really confused.
pooltech9
Tex, Your other post stated that your AquaRite read AL-0 in the diagnostics menu. Go to that screen again, switch to superchlorinate and back to auto until it reads AL-5.
T-CELL-15
Hi, I tried AquaRite with AL-5 and two thins happened: 1. It divided my salt reading by two 2. Super Clorinate light turned ON Last night after I measured I reset ones again my AquaRite I did it differently than earlier. - In AUTO I turned five times to get negative number (-0) - Turned AquaRite OFF - Right after system started to run negative numbers to smaller I selected SUPER CLORINATE - And then I selected AUTO Surprise surprise and now it shows salt level 3400 PPM. It have gone couple of times close to 2600 and I have repeated this and it has been generating clorine. Any comments ?
Pool-newb
Any idea what the software version is? Mine has 1.5. I'm assuming you didn't just make this procedure up - can you post a link? I would love to know all the secrets they put in the firmware.
T-CELL-15
My SW version is as well 1.5. I don't know changes between SW versions but let's try to find list changes between SW releases. I start new forum for that.
