How Does The Shell Color Effect Lighting?

my gf and I really liked the black color shells on some of the spas, but were told the lights don't really reflect well off them and are kinda of toned down vs a white or or lighter color which really brings out the lighting at night. So I was curious who out there has what color shell and how your lights look? Pics would be great.

FYI our first choice is a silver/platinum color shell.

We have a platinum/white shell. It definately reflects light at night and looks great. During the day when the sun is over head I wear shades or it's too bright.

Pics?

I think a large part of this also depends on the type and size of lights you have. I have 5 small LED lights in my Arctic Spa Tundra with a white marbled shell vs a co-work who has a Coast that is a jet black marbled shell with one big light. Mine seems better when the jets are off but his seems better with the jets on. Could be positioning to some effect as well with my tub if they didn't have one above the water by the water fall and the jets were on I'm not sure I would know with 100% certainity which lights were lit up exactly as the LED's have several color settings (not sure how many but lots of variations just not that evident when all the jets are on).

I'll try to post a pic or two of mine with and with out the jets on.

Cheers

Calvin
