Joe Goldwasser
I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue. I recently purchased a solar cover for our 10x46 pool. I cut it so that it does not touch any of the pool sides, however, it still has areas where the cover doesn't lay flat which ends up leaving "air tunnels" that can catch the breeze on a windy day and blow the cover totally out of place. I've tried using my pool brush to smooth out the areas, but usually it just ends up moving the "air tunnel" to a spot to the side of where it was. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Is the filter running by chance? When I leave my filter running, I usually get a large air pocket. I think air escapes from the return line and has no where else to go. jac11
I have the same problem and was told by seller it is fine. Mine is 3 pieces that obviously were not laying flat when bonded together causing many ridges of air under cover. Has to be defective as wind does blow cover off.
