WATERMAN Posted March 26, 2008 Report Share Posted March 26, 2008 Hello all, I am a consultant working with a spa equipment manufacturer and I wanted to see if I could gather some information from spa dealers on the site. With the slowing of spa sales over the past few years, it would appear like there is a drive from dealers looking for additional support in the way of Marketing materials from the MFR's. I understand from a few people I have spoken to that increasing foot traffic is priority #1 and increasing your marketing budget is one way to get there. Is this true? If MKTG support was provided to you the dealer in the way of created advertisements, created materials, etc., would this help you as a dealer? Would this encourage you to push one line over another? What are other things you are turning back to MFR's and asking for? Would you pay for materials to be generated, do you already? Any information would be beneficial as I am new to the industry.
