  1. We have a 2009 Tiger River Spa Caspian model. About 2 years ago we replaced all the boards and button controls. It has been working great since. Tried to use it last night and found the whole system didn't have any power. Checked house breaker (still ok) and both breakers at the unit. When both breakers are on there is indication that the board is trying to power up when the pwr on indicator lights up. Then the D21 sensor shows red and it seems that something is trying to start up but nothing happens. This happens multiple times to no joy. I need to figure out what this sensor (D21) is linked
  2. I have Tiger River hot tub- I am guessing it is an 02 or 03 model. The tub powers up then after a couple of hours the red Power light starts blinking and it stops heating. I reset the breakers and it works for a while and then the same thing happens. The more often that I do this the shorter the duration between the resetting of the breakers and the “Blinking of the Power light”. Maybe because the water is getting warmer in the tub? The tub never gets to the set temperature (maybe 10 degrees shy of it). I tested the thermistors- they were still good I have replaced both thermistors – sa
  3. Folks, Have a 2002 Maquis spa, with a 1 (of 2) new pumps and a new heater. Wired myself. Ran fine for several months, now that it's winter, seems to consistently be tripping the supply (not the GFI cut-out box) CB. Have some milder weather, so testing again, but what is reasonable to expect? In "standby mode", with only the one pump on low and the heater on is when this is happening. Is this a hot tub problem, or an electrical problem? Seems to run fine, even with all pumps on, for about 10 mins, then trips the CB. Thanks!! Z
  4. Our 1992 Hot Springs Sovereign is having intermittent power issues. After we lose power to the hot tub, it sometimes regains power after about 20 minutes on it's own-- with no telling of what is causing it to lose and regain power. We tested the circuit and have reset the breaker-- the power from our house is consistent. We would like to try troubleshooting this on our own before hiring a professional to come look at it. Any ideas are very helpful!
  5. My wife and I want to buy a new hot tub with plenty of jet power for therapeutic purposes. I've got an old injury where I really need the jet to needle in behind my shoulder-blade for a deep-tissue massage. Many of the spas we've wet-tested just don't get deep enough. Our Hot Springs dealer suggested the Hot Spot Tempo which has two 2.5HP Continuous (5.2 breakdown) pumps. We haven't wet-tested yet. Any other suggestions on tubs with lots of power? (We're more value-oriented than a bells-and-whistles oriented.) Would I get a more powerful tub out of the Hot Springs line as opposed to the
  6. Hey all, I'm hoping you guys might be able to help out as my limited knowledge has run out of troubleshooting ideas: I have a 2005 Cal Spa that recently stopped working. No power running to it at all as if the breaker was off (which it isn't). Here's what I've noticed: About a week before it broke, I went out to use it a noticed it was off totally. Checked breakers and everything was fine. I suspected the outdoor breaker so went back and forth switching both outdoor and indoor breakers on and off in different orders, and finally it kicked on and worked great that night. I didn't think much
  7. Hot Springs Sovereign; I think we got it around 2000. S/N is IQ2A2015; it has the IQ2000 controls, and is wired for 220. Two GFCI breakers- a 20A that runs the controls and circulation pump, and a 50A for the heaters and main pump. After a brief power outage two days ago, every time I reset the smaller, 20A breaker, it instantly trips. I replaced the breaker but problem continues. After the power outage, water backed up into the Ozone unit. I've disconnected the Ozone electrically but no change in behavior. I removed the metal bracket that obstructs the main board, didn't see any obvio
  8. Hey Guys, I have a 15 amp 240V Waterco Portapac Heat Pump (air button model). It will work for about 60 seconds and then trips out. I have to push the reset power button and the "power" light comes on again. Turn on the jets and it will run for up to a minute and then cuts out. It doesn't trip the main power on house, just the pump itself. Any ideas? Cheers
  9. Help! My 2004 Sundance Optima spa is lifeless. I checked power to the spa and I have power but no messages on the contol box, nothing. I pulled out fuses and checked continuity and they are all fine. I checked the transformer and I get nothing. Any ideas? Thanks
