  1. Is it perhaps on filter switch over that pump is not strong enough to get water flowing again? How do I know if motor is going bad or what to test next?
  2. I took out the filters and was fine for about 2 days then happened again with no water flowing through circulation pump and heater got too hot so shut down. Any thoughts on next steps to try?
  3. I have a similar issue with my tropic seas and can’t figure out how it is getting enough air in the system that is running constantly to cause an airlock. It seems inconsistent. Any advice is appreciated.
  4. Thanks for responding. I changed the filters in the last month and worked for about a week or so before stopping. I did wash them a few weeks a ago when I drained and refilled to try to solve the problem. I am posting a picture of them. This last time there wasn’t a lot of water in the heater when I bled it but thought maybe the pump stopped and heater dried up water. I got water out of circulation pump but didn’t hear any air come out any of the times. This time yesterday I did take the top connection off the circulation pump with the 4 tubes coming out and there was water there. Still running today but has happened a lot in the past so not sure that was it. My waterfall valve is coming apart but that is more recent so not sure if that could get air in to stop a running pump. I also do hear air that sounds like in the circulation lines when sitting in the tub. Thanks again! IMG_0383.MOV
  5. Hello, My tropic seas hot tub keeps getting an error that heater may be dry and shuts down. appears to be air getting into circulation system and stopping circulation pump every few days. i bleed the pump and restart a few times and it gets going but then stops a few days later. I hear air type noises in walls of tub. Any ideas on what else to try to stop this from happening? I wonder if it is when it switches filters ever 12 hours if that is causing some stoppage to let air in. Any thoughts are appreciated.
