It's a shame that you were put off HotSprings by some poor sales techniques, when will these idiot sales people understand that todays customers are sick and tired or the used car sales routine. If any of you are out there reading this, take note, there are better ways to make a living in sales than being a slime ball. Try listening to your customers wants and needs and sell your product for what it has, not what somebody elses does'nt.

These are both good spas similar in size and seating, I like the large cool down seat in the caspian and you have a bit more jet variety also. Wet test them both, then decide.

Replacing the sand is fairly easy, just make sure you do not damage the internal laterals. I like to use a large soup ladel to get the bulk of the sand out, it is a little time consuming but works really well, you could choose to refill the filter with Micromatic media instead of sand, this will reduce backwashing and give you finer filtration.

It has a Moto massage, HotSprings Flag ship jet, It has a no-bypass filtration. It's a HotSpring, nothing lite about it.

Since the newer HotSpring Spaudio 2 System came out our sales of this unit have more than doubled, this new version uses both transducers and external speakers, the sound is quite good, but it is still to pricey for my own tastes.

I'm glad you are happy with your spa, the best spa is always the one that is best for you. This is certainly the case here.

I only speak from experience, I have 18 spas up and running in 4 differant locations, they all have circ pumps, they need no programing, they are always clean and ready to use, some have ozone some do not, we use small amounts of chlorine in them every couple of days. I have sold one or two, nobody has complained about any water issues, but they do tell me they love their spas.

I agree, we have seen a huge serge in spa sales in the last couple of weeks, I'm thinking that the gas prices may be helping sales right now. People want to stay home, so an investment in a spa is a good idea.
