  1. So long as you have a warranty, you are entitled to service & repair from someone. Find out who that is going to be, the dealer should be able to tell you. Also make sure you are getting the original warranty if this is an older floor model.
  2. With referance to the warranty, you have to read the fine print, some warranties will let you move it and some will not. Most are not transferable if you sell it with the house, although I believe Marquis is an exception on that one.
  3. Your perception of "High Quality" and mine, are not the same.
  4. Do not buy a spa (or anything for that matter) sight unseen, which is what you will get if you buy a Thermospa. There are lots of good spas out there, Hotspring, Dimension 1, marquis, Coleman, Sundance to name just a few. Always make sure you are buying from a dealer with a good reputation.
  5. Jim, thanks for welcoming TasteofVirginia to our forum, you really ambushed this thread.
  6. Go to Master spas web site & click on Dealer Locater to find your nearest dealer.
  7. Go to some of the major spa players web sites, enter your zip code in the dealer locater section to find out who sells what in your area, then narrow your search down to 2-3 spas and wet test, concentrate on comfort and size first. Some brands to consider...Marquis, Hotspring & Tiger River, Dimension 1, Caldera, Coleman, Sundance, Arctic. Good luck.
  8. I agree, microban is sales hype.
  9. The Escalade is a good steel pool, you did not say what Esther Williams model you were interested in, they have many differant types, was it an alluminum or steelpool. If you have the room and it's in your budget, you may want to consider the next size up from the 18', it shouldn't be that much more in price and it gives you a lot more room, as your son grows and gets more play pals an 18 may seem a bit confining.
  10. I'm still confused,( more met being real people) Please explain?
  11. Well now I'm really confused, you say you are replacing your keys with a Plat 2, did we all miss something here.
  12. Lack of command of the English lanquage has nothing to do with the quality of spa manufacturing. It's a common problem over here in the States. But then English engineering is not the best in the world either, I think the Germans have that one covered.
  13. He's probably enjoying thanksgiving a little earlier. Put the bottle down Paint.
  14. Interesting, I forgot that bigger in Texas thingy.
  15. Plus you get Terms texas hospitallity, maybe a free Shiner Bock, and the sun shining off terms head
  16. Why, are you thinking of buying one?
  17. • surface skimming or overflow systems can be designed for effective sanitation and circulation without submerged suction outlets. HotSpring Spas work in this way, using multiple filters they have eliminated the need for suction fitting in the footwell.
  18. It's not about one thing like a pump or heater, or the latest gizmo. A good spa is well constructed using quality components. It's the whole package being put together with quality engineering, backed by a well managed company, who is willing to back up the great dealers they use to promote, sell & service their product.
  19. That's his opinion, mine would be, HotSprings, Sundance, D1, Marquis,Tiger River, Caldera, Coleman, Artic, Jacuzzi, LA spas.
  20. Yes, now is a good time to buy. Dealers are looking to sell their 06 floor models for the incoming 07's. Spa prices increase every year when the new models come out. I have been selling spas for 8 years and 2007 is the biggest price increase I have seen.
