A pool is something really nice at home. I do not know what to look in a pool or equipment. All I can tell you is that is a lot of work year round no matter what equipment you buy. I am going to be honest a pool is something I am going to have for a long time since it gives fun to your home.

Rusty, What benefit do you get by posting this? Like I said before I am glad your pool is completed and your family is swimming. On the other hand, I am not because lazy contractors. I know Frank and his reputation. However the ONLY place Frank lives is in your area period. I am not complaning about the pool, it is the service. You did not get the pool from FRANK. You got it thru Wave Tec. Wave Tec could be good in your area (if I was the owner I better be good in my home town), but remote locations like El Paso, McAllen and other places in Texas just sucks. I have had 5 contractors here in my house. I actually have one now at this moments. Doing some pressure tests again. I have told WAVE TEC and Frank people in El Paso that the leak and problems must be approched in a different way. They do the same testing all the time and the bottom line is I Do not have a pool to swim. I do have a payment every month. Also, I have a 150 dollar water bill due to this leaking pool. Like I said before, I am glad you have your pool completed, but as far as I know a lot fo people (not on this website) have issues with them. they just have not posted here. If they are so AWESOME like you said, Why in the world did they LOOSE their BBB membership???? This is your second post about how Wave Tec is good. Today is now May 7 2006 and my Pool has lost all its water. Wavetec NOTHIN their are a huge scam... I just cant say it enough. Please be careful and never build a Vinyl pool.

I am glad for you that your pool is completed and you are swimming. As of me and my house, i have a leaking pool still and NO ONE from Wave Tec has contacted me about it. I have called maybe 20 times in the past week and no answer. I know Frank could be the best but as of me and my good friends here in El Paso, TX we are still strugguling with Wave Tec. Also, maybe you have not suffer the pain in the butt that is to clean the pool yet. The filter system they used is a JOKE and does not work for the type and size of pool I got. I spend more money and time cleaning it every other day that it is not even funny. I have a great job and it is not cleaning pools. LOL Good luck

You might remember or read the post like 8 months ago here in this forum. Today is April 27, 2006 and this is my pool. Look at the pictures. It is amazing what this IDIOTS did to my AWESOME brand new HOME. I am going to have to sell it now becuase of the whole WAVTE TEC experiance. They got kicked out of the BBB in Austin and they reopen in Dallas. Be VERY careful before making a decision. The Pool is POOR quality and the equipment is a pain in the butt to operate. You can get an inground pool (cement) for the same price or ven cheaper. Please DO NOT do business with them, You will HATE your house ofter that pool. If you think that once they complete your pool the nightmare is over you are wrong. Look at this picture. I am in EL Paso,TX and water is very expensive. It takes me around 5 hours to get 3 inches back in the pool. Thats around $100 in water every month. Now, if they do not call when we have to pay them imaging what I am going thru once they are done according to them. My pool leaks around 1.5 to 2 inches a day and no one has called me or follow up on it. I have left like 4 messages a day and no calls back. Be very careful once they say "pool completed" and sign that final paper. Do not do it until you are 100% satisfied. I am also waiting on a $3,000 pool cover and no answer what so ever about it. Well, I have complained 5 times with the BBB but you know all they do is to gain time since everytime they respond they get another 12 days to respond. So far the BBB has done nothin about it. In fact, the Wave Tec Pools has been removed and it says "updating" it has been like that for the past 2 weeks. I wonder what is going on. Here in El Paso its like 400 dollars in fines to use all that water every day. We need to get together and sue them. I am in the process but we need more people. I know in El Paso area we have 30+ pools not finished and some are in the same stage. As soon as Wave Tec gets the 3th check we will not see them again and you will have to contact them every day with no luck.

Are you in El Paso, TX area? If you are please let me know who was your contractor. At least mine has not shown up in 3 weeks now. This make it close to 4 months with since they started the pool. My pool is the same hazardous shape and Wave Tec will not answer or return phone calls. I know it is not only me. I have seen 4 more pools that contractor from Wave Tec have not shown up in weeks. The good thing is that you did not have to go to what we are going thru now. Also, I have also seen pools that were finished and now they were emptied since big time leaks within the liners. Hey Wave Tec costumers, For the past three months I have had the worst nightmare. My summner was ruined for me and my family. I just update some pictures of what Wave Tec is doing to El Paso, Tx backyards. These is not only my problem we have documented cases of people having problems. In fact, I have seen them with my own eyes. Please check the this link and think twice before buying one of this pools. There are way to many risk and trick if you sign Wave Tec's contracts.
