[ or the 6-4 with the 1lb my understanding is the r values will be close with maybe a slight edge to the 5 with 2lb, some will say the 6-4 has the edge but again very close either way but the 2 lb will be stronger for kids and dogs and the like. Anyone with any insights ? I domt have any kids or dogs.

I want to clarify...my spa will drop two degrees when the heat shuts off after it hits temp..then heats back up when the heater kicks back on. This is normal for my spa and don't consider it loosing degrees. I said drop. its only when its below zero with a wind chill.

My Crown Xl will drop a couple of Degrees in -zero windy weather.

Your spa has one jet pump so that would explain the low pressure you are experiencing, any time you pay less then five thousand dollars at a dealer you always get a low option spa with no ozone, no circ pump, a 50 sqf filter and usually a 4" to 2" tapper rather then a 5" to 3" taper spa cover. As to pressue on 110 vs 220 is no diff except the heater will not run with the jet pump on. The 07 Crown xl has everything you just said it didnt for under 5.with a dealer.

but I think Doc's are a bit nicer. This is the reason. I didnt look at alot of cover places(not like solo would have ) i like that hes here too i just get this feeling(so far) that i'm getting my moneys worth and then some.

I just got out myself A bit chilly . I like what people say about the company and dr spa. he seems honest. I was Quoted 400 bucks for the cover we have now(about an R16). I just payed 389.90 and its 6 to 4 inches(R21) instead of 4 to 2 inches. I'm getting the double wrap foam,better hinge a full lengnth middle seal and all around better cover. Dave this should save us the money spent in two seasons. I do keep my tub ay 104 Degrees all winter. The dementions are easy, you have a cover to go by. I empty the hot tub every three months. An interesting thing about my reaction to MPS is that it did take about two months to react to it. But now even after a refill.... a small amount of MPS will cause a rash within hours. Is the rash all over your body?? or just the same parts everytime?? Thanks John

I say yes. Though ozone is an oxidizer, an ozonator is not going to give you enough oxidizing power to keep the organics eliminated and from forming chloramines. Regular use of non chlorine shock will and will help your free chlorine last longer...from my experience. Your filter set to twice a day for two hours each time is a good setting for most if you don't have a circ pump running 24/7. Hay tony What if you dont use the Non chlorine shock with the bleach??
