  1. From what ive have seen arctic does it best. 104 degrees
  2. No i have never done that. i have rapped the crown with two sleeping bags in very cold winters. i will do it when there is going to be close or below freezing temps. i like the no insulation in the summer, the tub runs cooler where the control box is inside. I'm going to have a thermal blanket made for it before next winter. Lets us know how you like the crown xl. Did you get the 07 with the stainless steel jets and perimiter lights? 104 degrees
  3. Never mind the snow. You got wind chil to 30 below
  4. Chem Will the Bleach be the same color as the dichlor on my test strip? I use Quick dip. i read the free clorine part of the strip. 104
  5. Chem geek What type of bleach? how much do you use in a 300 gallon tub? Thank you 104 degrees
  6. Please let me know about the bullfrog spa's. they have some nice stuff that nobody else has.
  7. How deep is the sundance?? 35". it seems to be the norm. some tubs are 38" to 41" deep and some of the round tubs are lower.
  8. If deep is what you like, look at the Clearwater spa. they are as deep as my Crown Xl 40".
  9. On my Crown XL, I will run the two speed pump on high when i get in. After a bit i will lower it to the first setting sit back and enjoy. If i need more power to a seat i can turn half of the tubs seats off and enjoy that to. beaware of tubs where only two seats(out of six) will only work on high. this is where the wet test comes in, run everything and make sure that everything you like will run on high. Now i need to go take a dip
  10. If you live in a cold climate, Service and insulation would be my concern.
  11. The tubs that he knows about seem to have problems.
  12. my buddy found out the hard way by not wet testing first
  13. Good luck with the problems. Please keep us posted.
  14. I went into my buddys new LSX friday night and its a junk. i cannot list all the problems with it , i will not live that long. Wet test before you buy! he did not and is very sorry.
  15. Well my buddy who bought a 10,000 spa had his and his wifs first dip last night. I just talked to him and he said(they never wet teasted the spa) she did not like the lounger or the seat with the neck message, she had to crowch down to fit in it. My buddy said he has to crowch down in the wirl-pool seat to get his shoulders wet. I will be over his house to try it out tomorrow and will see how it is. I guess it's a good idea to wet test the tub and if the dealer dont have one to test go some place else. 104 Degrees.
  16. I have been looking for other tubs in the 5000 range. There are some nice tubs but im not sure if a top companys lower end tub would be worth it in the long run. i think its better to stay with a middle of the road manufactur's top of the line tub. the company is a great company to do buisness with, the people are very helpfull. I was told that the new crown Xl will have the water line lights and stainless steel jets. one other improvement is on there square tub and its a lounger it will have the water line lights and stainless steel jets too. I hope they put a neck massager in the crown like great lakes has in there round tub it would make the deep seat great to be in. 104 degrees
  17. My thoughts exactly. They are coming out with a new Website in about 4 to 6 weeks they have some updated tubs that will be displayed on there web. I'm thinking about a new crown or one of there square tubs. I cannot wait for the new site
