  1. I was out of country for a few months, and the people watching my house didn't care for my tub as they were supposed too.... This tub is filled on the inside with foam so I cant get to the jets from the inside... Any help would be appreciated
  2. How hard is it to replace the gaskets ? or can you caulk around them ? Its def flaking off of the gasket material...
  3. I'm having an issue with the gasket deteriorating on all of my jets.... If this has been covered, please help me out with a link to a thread. I searched and didn't come up with anything..... Not sure what words to use to search for. Its a white gooey substance that is floating around in the tub. Cleaned it out but doesn't seem to stop. Any help would be appreciated....
  4. www.spaandpoolsource.com www.shepnell.com You can expect to spend abour $200 for a full set including inserts. Thank you tony, that is helpful... from what I have read through searches my Ozone isn't helping.... But I guess thats part of the game every 2-3 years - so be it... I truly enjoy my tub, and thanks to this forum, it has been far less painful then learning the hard way... Much Obliged OH and FWIW, anyone searching for this should search for pillows instead eh... Now I know... Patrick
  5. forgot to mention, my dealer closed up shop and left the state... grrr...
  6. Can someone suggest a good (and inexpensive) place to get replacement headrests, mine are about 2 years old and gettin' there if ya know what I mean... Also, in the mean time one of the plastic screws broke on one of the headrests, so I need to find a replacement for that..... Thanks for your help guys... Patrick
  7. The Sundance Cameo is supposed to be a larger for taller people lounge chair, Not sure on exact price though....
  8. I do live in a cold climate... Just 20 miles north of Milwaukee.. So I will keep that in mind, and thanks for the input on the speed settings.. When looking at the websites, I notice that some have 2 some have 1. Just wondering why they weren't all standard. I would imagine that I won't be getting a tub until late summer. By the time I get my act together and finances.. Dam Property Taxes, and Mortgages... hehehhehe Thanks so much for the tips on what too look for.. Its a big help, as with alot of things... its a bit overwhelming and confusing at first.. with this dealer saying this and that dealer saying that... Sales Pitches... !!!! Time to dive in and figure out what I want...
  9. Thanks Tyler and 104 for your response, although I have been looking around and haven't ventured to all the places in my area yet... just getting a start, and I have done quite a bit of reading. I will be wet testing other tubs, but I thought I would bounce some thoughts off you guys first.. Although the $$ savings is quite attractive, I will not be making that my final judgement. Im in no hurry, and when he gets the Sundance models setup in his new location I will be in them. Now with that said, there are a few other manufacturers around my area. and I will be checking those out. I do have a question, Is there a big difference between the 1 and 2 speed pumps, and should I be worrying about HP or stuff like that. I know that after reading here most of what Im looking for is a good reputable company, warrantee, and most of all good service. What else should I be concerned about... thanks Warp
  10. To those that have bought one or the other... Id love to hear your input... Well Im on my journeys start of checking out spa's and narrowed it down to Sundance.... Turns out on my run around town I found a dealer near me, and I know the guy... He's just moving he location and has no tubs setup yet.. Im in no hurry as I will have to prep the site with concrete, and wiring... and after I get the tub I will build a deck around it... As I haven't been able to look at the tubs, I have checked the online site, and from what I have read the Altamar is quite a popular tub, but I will be probably looking at a substancial discount, He was talking a couple grand.. We are both in business and he can use my services, so there will be barter involved.. Now what differences will I be seeing in the two tubs for comparison's sake, I know nothing about jets or the extra features... could any of you fine people help me to distinguish the many points here... With the extra savings, I could probably manage a descent tub here... as well as extra features.. I do have intentions of somewhat sinking the tub into the deck... How far down can I go... I could manage access to 3 sides easily, the 4th will be tricky or I will just have to excavate more... Thoughts.... Thanks so much... I look forward to the handfuls of knowledge you guys provide, and what I have read so far. Warp
