  1. Hmm - I hate to even say this. Last year was my first year in a LONG time with a pool. I let the pool store close the pool AG 15x30 Johnny Weismuller (due to the fact that the original installer did a bad job with the liner and the pool had to be drained and refilled to get rid of all the wrinkles.) The guy who closed the pool put the wedding cake steps in the middle of the pool and draped the pool cover over the handrail. I have to say it has made keeping water pumped off the top of the cover pretty simple 'cause there was none in the middle. Although we had cold enough weather (Munford - 20m north of Memphis - zone 7A) to freeze the top of my liner pond, never was there any frozen water on top of the pool cover and I don't think there was any under either. Is this likely to be a problem? I guess I didn't question their decision to leave the steps in the water.
