What I do when I drain my tub for the summer, I put a full cup of chlorine in the tub and run the jets and make sure they are all open. Then I drain it the next day or a few hours later. I think with only being gone for a week you will be fine. Just give it a healthy scoop of chlorine when you refill if you are not going to use the shopvac on the jets.
Hope that helps!
1 vote for Caldera... I can't stand it when I hear my neighbor's Artic filtering at night, sounds like he is running some heavy duty equipment in his backyard...
Have you tried to contact a local dealer? IMO $800 for a 91 is kinda steep, but if you love it, it doesn't matter. There are a couple of really good techs on here that might know how to diagnose your hot tub issues. Good Luck!=)
In Arizona you should be fine with a tub like that. Anywhere farther up north I don't know if it would be able to maintain the heat very well without having an actual heater it would probobly have to run all the time.
I do it all the time, I'm going to drain my spa tonight as its way to hot to even use it now. Before I drain it I put a full scoop of chlorine in the tub and run my jets so anything in the plumbing can get chlorinated then I drain. When I fill up again in the fall I do a spa purge before setting up.
You might want to check the reviews on rhtubs.com but keep in mind more people put in effort to complain then do people who are happy. But I bet someone on this forum has info regarding Master Spas, you can also type in master spas on the search engine on this site and read pasts posts. Good Luck!
