  1. Nice review jeffinwhitby, sounds like the Sundance made a good impression on you, might I add they are open on Sunday too!! We want to go have a look again tomorrow and I don't think Beachcomber is open, seems like most of the pool and spa shops have better hours than the banks! Let us know if you go ahead with the Optima
  2. What model/mfg of hot tub do you have? Monthly cost of $25 sounds good
  3. I'm not much further ahead but I'm leaning towards the Beachcomber. Something about it makes me keep thinking that it's the best way to go. Not as "fancy" as the Sundance but I like their models a little better and I tend to think it will be more energy efficient and reliable but who knows. I did check out Jacuzzi and wish I didn't as they have a great tub too! Might be easier to buy a sauna instead!
  4. Gman, are you in the United States? Location will be a factor in pricing. Also, non-negotiable doesn't mean it's not a fair deal. To provide someone a large discount because he negotiated well and another a much lower discount because he didn't deosn't make much sense, I think this dealer is trying to be fair and equal to all of his clients. The prices I have heard are the exact same prices I was offered so if I were to purchase I know I'm getting the same deal as everyone else. If the dealer doesn't make any money than he will either not be in business long or not be able to provide the service and support the product he sells
  5. Thought I would bump this to the top, any feedback is appreciated!
  6. I haven't been to Jacuzzi yet as I didn't even know they were there. I should also add that I looked at Master Spas, Down East Windsor model, great looking tub but after reading more about Master Spas I decided not to take a chance.
  7. I think we're doing the same circuit as I have looked at Arctic, Coast, Beachcomber and Sundance in Whitby/Oshawa. I liked the Sundance and Beachcomber the best but I'm can't decide between the two. Beachcomber does seem a little more basic but I am comfortable with that, less to go wrong I think. The Sundance was roughly the same price but looked more expensive and had a few more bells and whistles. For what it's worth I was told the same price by Sundance. Good luck with your search, let us know what you think of Beachcomber
  8. Hi all, I have been reading reviews and opinions on many hot tubs and have found this forum to be very informative. I would now like to ask for specific help with our purchasing decision. We have narrowed down our choice to either a Beachcomber 380 or a Sundance Chelsee. We feel both dealers are very good, pricing is almost the same and we find both tubs comfortable, this is what is making the decision very difficult! Any opinions or feedback on these tubs would be appreciated! Curious to hear experiences with either tub or mfg. This will be our first hot tub purchase Thanks!
