  1. Well I really started something didn't I. Also I don''t recall on that message actually giving a Arctic Pitch, I must have missed it somewhere in my short posting, because ifthere was an Arctic pitch it would have been a much much longer message, as you know us Arctic guys do like to talk. .Actually my comment initially was meant to reply to a Cold Weather spa, and if your shopping for a cold weather spa it wouldn't be complete without at least looking at Arctic, since it is also manufactured in Alberta. Also some people aren't as familiar with the Calgary market as I am, having lived there and surrounding area for many years , (like the gentlemen says , there are alot of spa companies there, especially along Hot Tub Row there on Center Ave.) Dear Alpine, D1 is new to the area and Trail has just started carrying them in the past year or so. Your doing the right thing, get afeel for the people your doing business with, how long have they been doing business and wet test, wet test, wet test. Good luck in your purchase and the important thing is that you get in hot water, tis the season!!
  2. HI Check out Arctic Spas which is located on Center Avenue at Paradise Bay, which is behind the Chinook LRT. Arctic is manufactured outside of Edmonton ( I know your from Calgary...but there are some good things from that area ) You will find it really is a product designed for the harsher climate in Alberta. Plus Paradise Bay has been around forever.
  3. Dear Steve First of all I work for a company called Arctic Spas. Please check out our website at www.goarctic.com and you will see some features of our hot tub including heatlock, freeze protection, forever floor, polar cover etc etc These tubs were built for the cold weather and adapt in the exact environment you have. Our warranties are very extensive and importantly we have a terrific dealer called Hudson Pools and Spas in Cleveland area. We will be at the Cleveland home show this weekend from Feb 3 for 9 days and this will provide an opportunity to see all manufacturers and models under one roof. You are right in saying that a good dealer is important and they are. Good Luck in your searching and if you need any more help please don't hesitate to contact me either here or at sandy@goarctic.com
  4. Regarding Master Rebates, you have received excellent advise to run as fast as you can. To do further research please look on the internet under Cashable Vouchers, or Consumers Trust who administers some of these programs. A Canadian Hot Tub company called Polar Spas was using this program and promising cash rebates to their customers as well. It is a black eye for our industry to have these companies using such methods to sell hot tubs.
  5. HI Robin we do have an Arctic Spa dealer on Long Island, Check out West Islip Arctic Spas at 631-463-6961, hope that helps..........Sandy T Arctic Spas
