  1. This should solve your problem?
  2. There is NOTHING to maintaining a pool. I know you are probably like me. You want to FULLY understand everything so you can be prepared. All you really have to worry about is keeping it clean and balancing the water. Just start doing it. Take your water in like once every 6 weeks or so to be tested. Build a relationship with your local pool supply store. And in a few months you will be an expert. And if you have any questions ask here.
  3. We just went through an inground construction in 07. Our pool is 24x40. I can relate to your current emotional condition. Like others have stated. Just relax and don't think about the junk everywhere and all that jazz. Just tackle each day as it's own. Eventually you will get there. And the maintenance is not that big of a deal once you get the hang of it. Here is my back yard after I did the rough grading. Here it is last summer. Worth every penny and effort.
  4. What??? If your pressure goes from 22 to 13 just by bleeding off the air? Change the pressure gauge. It's cheap, it's easy, It just might be the problem. I will change the guage since they are cheap to do so. But my theory is that air compresses and builds more prssure than water. So the bubble reads higher than if it wasn't there and only water.
  5. Takes about 6 hours of run tim e to build the bubble back up. D.E filter. 3/4 hp pump. Thing is, never had this happen over the last two summers. Just started happening this year.
  6. So for the last 2 summes no problem. All the sudden this year I have noticed that my gauge at the top of my filter goes from 13psi (just after cleaning) to 22 psi over night. When I crack the valve it lets out an air bubble then the normal flow of water. When I close the gauge the pressure drops back to the 13 psi mark? Do I have a leak somewhere? Thanks guys. Gino
