2 thoughts. you may have a hole in a grid of the filter. If you are cleaning for the first time did you get all the heavy debri out first with a net? Have you shocked the pool? Do you have algea. If it is coming out green you may need algecide as it will come back as fast as you vacuum.

you can go to the hardware store and bye those mosquito dunks. won't kill adults but will kill larvae that feed on it. Otherwise get water off cover.

what is used for filling in bullnose coping ? I have already set it and now need to fill it. Someone told me regular mortar but I think it should have some flexible property to combat change in weather. Any help is appreciated.
