We had the water line tile installed, liked the tile, yet, once the pool filled, we weren't that impressed. Now, don't get me wrong, the wife and I like it, but we were expecting something more, not sure what. People who come over, though, appear to like it more than us. So, if I had to do it over again, I'd still put the tile in. Ain't as big a bang for the buck, but I like it.

Sometimes when I shock, I see some bluing sediment, sometimes I don't. With Spring in southern Louisiana, more than dust is flying into my pool, so even when I clean thoroughly and add shock, I still get sediment, which doesn't surprise. I know that my pool is always going to have some particles or sediment because of all the stuff in the air, but if the critters ain't swimming in it, I'm ok, too, because I perform pool maintenance of some sort daily.
