I use EcoOne (just the once a month product) along with Synergy system (for spas) for my Sanitizer, after balancing my Alkalinity and pH. It helps keep the pH in check, the water smells fresh, I maintain a low chlorine reading, and don't get any "itchies". My skin is sensitive to unbalanced water from doing a zillion water tests at our store, so I always need my water in check. Hope that helps

If you are using Spa Essentials, your Guardex dealer should have access a product called Spa Synergy. Most people that use it end up with no problems. It is a chlorine based product.

Sadly it is true that Pacific has gone bankrupt. The dealer locator on the Pacific's website should still work, so if there is a dealer in your area grabbed one before they closed you might luck out. I know that there has been deals worked out with some of the manufacturers to cover a small amount of the warranty, for newer tubs (manufactured in the last 24 months or so) It is unfortunate as they really did make a good quality spa!
