  1. on sundance spas... The board inside the spa senses amperage draw that ozonator pulls when it is on, turning the icon on. so it should be an accurate indicator of if its working or not. but, I've seen quite a few working without turning the ozone icon on. If I remember right, it's got something to do with the new cd ozonators being on the border line of drawing the amps it needs to light up the icon.
  2. 355 is the eprom rev. number, when you power up the spa you should see 888 then 355. If it keeps restarting when the heater kicks in or your pumps turn on, the board is bad. most likely a blown cap. on the board. you'll probally have to have service repair the board or replace it.
  3. I agree, It sure looks like a hydrospa. I think its a princess model, mid 90s.
  4. A mazzie injector is what is used to draw ozone into a line off of the circ pump when the spa does not come plumbed with an ozone jet. then some maufactures use a mazzie mixing chamber and a coil of line or pipe for about 15 ft after it. the purpose of the chamber is to break up the ozone bubbles into finer ones increasing the surface area. and the coil is to give some time for the ozone gas to do its work before hitting the spa. I wouldn't be suprised if that line and chamber isn't already installed from artesian, Maybe someone with artesian expertise could tell you that. I personally wouldn't spend extra cash for it.
  5. take your test meter with one lead on each side of the sc-30 fuse, if you get 240, then the fuse is bad. no voltage means the fuse is good. or pull the fuse and check for continuity. you can buy a sc-30 fuse at lowes/home depot. the primary side of the transformer (red & black ) in a plug on the transformer should yield 240, secondary volts (blue to blue) 8-10 volts, (yellow to yellow) 12 to 14 volts.
  6. "ec" is economy mode, it will only heat during filtration cycles. Change it to standard "st", by pressing temp button then the light button and it heat.
  7. the hamilton has a low flow circ pump and is really quiet compared to the new majesta. you should see bubbles from the ozone jet/drain when the circ is running. turning the waterfall off does help increase the amount of ozone pulled into the water. also, if you turn the temp down on the spa it will shut off the circ pump and ozone untill the spa reaches the set temp.
  8. del sol was made by sundance for a few years, lx15 pack I think, hi flow heater with no circ pump. didn't have too many probs with them other than control panel issues. the shell kinda sucks, it's not fiberglass and no access to repair plumbing if were needed to. kinda like a dreamaker spa with good quality guts, I guess ~Otis
