Not exactly, but I have painted a Jeep top with Duplicolor fabric paint and it turned out good. After two years on the Jeep it still hadn't shown any signs of failing.

Our's is 18" out from the wall and when the cover goes back the straps just barely graze the wall.

Thanks for the info. This was our first fill and it was filter less. I have to drain our spa so the dealer can take it back and deliver our new replacement spa. I just bought a hose filter and our new spa will definitely be filled using it. Hoping this solves the problem. Thanks again.

Our water isn't actually direct well water, but our city does pull their water from wells and treat it. If you look inside our toilet tanks (not the bowls) they are stained from iron in the water, so what you said makes sense. Now the big question, what is needed to solve the problem?

I'm going through the same problem, except I'm using the Nature 2 cartridge and my water is only 3 weeks old. I started using a scum sponge floater and it has helped with the scum ring, but has done nothing for the clarity of the water.
