  1. I have been considering the Infinity Columbia sold through Costco - and following the pictures and positive buying experience described in this thread, I went back to Costco to pull the trigger. It appears that Costco has dropped the Infinity Columbia line, and has a statement saying that the Sun Peak is 'sold out'. Not sure what this means (i.e. did Costco have a bad experience with Infinity?) - but what ever will this Forum do without the Spa Community vs. Costco venting?????
  2. I checked into AbsoluteTan - the person I talked with is related to the owner of Infinity, and their store is a few blocks from Infinity. So I think it is safe to say that their spas are made by Infinity, just have a different name (in fact, if you look at their website and the Infinity website - the logos are identical, just a different name - Serenity Spas vs. Infinity Spas as I recall). Both Infinity and Serenity have slightly higher prices than the spas made by Infinity and sold through Costco, and a shorter warranty. If you don't mind the limited selection of colors and set features, seems to me that Costco would be a better way to go (if nothing else for the return policy and longer warranty) IF you are interested in this line of spas. 3. Confused: I also have been shopping for a tub for a while, but since I have been focusing on buying an Infinity from Costco (if you really want your head to explode - try wading through the forums discussing the pros and cons of going down that road!), I just came across this forum. I recently moved, and had to sell my last tub due to size constraints. I bought it from Aries Spas (manufacturer in Rockwall, TX) at a price roughly half of the 'name brand' tubs offered by local dealers. They delivered it to west Texas (charged $300), but set it up, filled it, demoed it, and stood behind it with great service for the 4+ years I owned it. They provide local warranty service in the DFW area, and contract with outside repair facilities for purchasers outside of their local service area. During the time I owned the Aries, I replaced the ozonater once, and had an issue with a pump. Both times they sent me the part and walked me through the installation (I preferred to do it myself, rather than schedule a local spa tech, which they offered to pay for). I would buy another tub from them in a heartbeat, but they don't have a tub that fits my very limited space/feature requirements in my new home. You might want to check them out (http://www.ariesspas.com/). Good luck! Prof
