  1. I would definitely check who would be doing the service for your spa. It will be worth while. Ask where the service person is out of, how much trip/service charge before and after warranty period. Every spas will need service sooner or later. Depending on where you live, if you have a problem in the winter, you can end up with a spacicle. If you study which manufacturers have sold to big box retailers like Sam's and Costco, are those companies still in business? If not why do you think? The main reason is the return policies. Manufactures underestimate the returns. Your warranties are as good as the manufacturer is in business.
  2. I believe thats the cashable voucher program also known as the "oucher voucher". Its bull!!!! If you buy from them, get the best price you would be happy with expecting NO REBATE back. Plus remember you probably won't get good service, if at all. Good luck. I haven't know One good Master spa dealer yet.
  3. Great tub and also good price. You did well. Enjoy!!!!
  4. I would never buy a spa from a company that doesn't have a rep in your area. By rep, I mean a dealer who will service your spa. Everything manmade breaks. Buy from a solid dealer with a good product. There are always problems that follow price shopping. On the other hand, don't buy as soon as you come to price. Go home and research if that price is a fair price for you area. For example, dealers are wanting to get some revenue in the winter and get rid rid of 07 spas. If you are in a cold climate area, you will select a different tub that if you were in FL. Make a list of what is important to you. Insulation, price, dealer/service, looks, features.... Goood luck
  5. Don't get the Genesis system. It will give you trouble. If your wife is itchy, its because the chemicals dry her skin out. If its the chemicals, try the hydrogen peroxide based chems. Many spa chemical companies carry them now. I would list what are the important items to your family in spa. go from there and select.
  6. Don't get suckered into that 24 hr customer service bs. Gulf coast is a cheap spa. If you live anywhere near cold weather stay away! Buy a spa from a local dealer witha a SERVICE dept. Make sure that they have parts available. How can you make sure? Call them with a part number you can find from a manual that you can download online. Why do this? so when you need a part in the middle of winter, you don't end up with a spacicle. service dept is very important. Any hot tub is great the first year or so. then things break. How long has the dealer been in business? If a long a time, that dealer had a choice of the prime spa company. I would think that a dealer whos been aroound for 20 years would carry a line that is reputable and have a quality line. Cal spa is the budweiser of spas. Gulf Coast is Schlitz.
  7. You should look at a marquis' lower end spa or a free flow spa.
