  2. My spa is on its way, when I get it I play on using nature 2. I got a Sundance with a CD Ozonator and a .5 micron filter. I plan to have 1-4 people in it at a time (seats 7) and maybe use it 5 times a week (most of the time with only 2 people)
  3. Exactly?? Why do you have to buy from them? My dealer had a bahia for $6000 including delivery, 1 year chemicals, cover lift, etc... We ended up going with a Altimar for $8500 including tax, delivery, cover lift, etc.
  4. The forum admin should disable posts from guests... As in, you have to be registered and confirm your email to post.
  5. You could just go with Nature 2. It reequires a tiny bit of chlorine... more than whats in city drinking water. I am allergic to chlorine but theres so little that it dosent bother me. WHen I was looking for a non chlorine alternative the dealer told me either nature2 or Baqa. He said Baqa clogs up the filters, makes it hard to clean, and dosent kill jearms, it just covers them. He said if my allterys were ok with nature2 to use that instead. Baqa is also expensive. You must have an ozonator though.. Well not must, but its recommended.
  6. What is the price? Also Sundance seems to be a better brand. I just ordered an Altimar but I really liked the Bahia.
  7. Just purchased a Sundance Altimar for $8400 including tax, delivery, free chemicals for 1 year. Has a shorter lounger which I did not float in. Not sure if this helps
  8. My dealer wanted $6500 for the Bahia but came down to $6000. This includes 1 year of chemicals, and delivery.
  9. Get an Efax number, it conferts it to pdf automatically and puts it in your email. If you wish you can fax it to me and I can email it to you.
  10. Sorry about spelling. I am looking at the Bahia and the ALTAMAR not Ultima. The dealers seem to be nice and ofcourse "sales men". I should be able to get the Altamar to atleast $7800 and the bahia to atleast $6000. I am going to wet test the Altamar on Monday, they do not have a Cameo in stock. The Bahia was very comfortable though and I would choose it over the Optima. For me the Optima seemed to be made for slightly larger people than me (I am 140lbs). I guess we will see how the Ultamar compares. My biggest worry is reliability and costs in the long run.
  11. Sundance can run at either 110 or 220/240. If you run at 110 the pumps cannot function at the same time as the heating. You need to get a new 240 breaker module.
  12. Hey guys, Anyone here own or owned a Sundance Bahia or Sundance Ultima? I am looking at the Bahia for $6000 installed with startup chemicals and the Ultima for $7900 installed with startup chemicals. Let me know what you think of these two spas, have you had any problems? Has anything Broken? Thanks in advance!
  13. Today I went and wet tested a Sundance Bahia ($6000) which I loved, and on friday I am going to wet test a Sundance Ultima ($7900). The prices are with shipping, installation, start up kit, and a seminar. What do you guys think? I was looking at the Vita essence for $7000 but I think I am going to go with the Sundance. Please voice your opinions! MJS, Have you had any problems with you Vita??
  14. I belive I am about to purchase a Sundance Ultima ($7900) of the Bahia ($6000). I loved the Bahia and am going to wet test the Ultima on Friday.
  15. Well the Sundance is very comfortable but I have not been able to sit in the Vita, wet or dry. I also heard that Sundance parts are very expensive, is this true?
  16. Hey guys, I have about two days to make a decision on a spa or we will not have one in time for our deck completion. I am currently looking at Vita and Sundance but I am open to other brands. My problem is that I live in a small place where the only real dealers are 2 hours away and they don't stock Vita!. I am looking at the Vita Essence or Vita Nuage (deepening on if I am a floater) and the Sundance Bahia and Sundance Palermo (again depending if I am a floater). I believe I have found a pretty good dealer which stocks some spas and will let me wet test but they only have the Sundances mentioned above, they do have a Vita but it is an older model, not the one I am looking at. My budget is about $6500, I can get either sundance for that and can get the Vita Essence for about $6999 (but I think I can get it down). By the way the prices above include delivery. My biggest worry is reliability in the long run. I want something that will last, is high quality, with a manufacturer that honors their warranty, and parts in the future are not too expensive. The sales man says when it comes to reliability and quality Sundance is the best way to go but Vita is not far behind. Help me out, Thanx in advance!
