  1. I know it's probably kind of a weird question but I'm really not sure how to remove the jets in my spa. I've look on youtube and all they're all talking about turning them all the way CCW and give it a last shot to unclip it. I tried the hardest I could and even use a pair of channellock to get them out. Before breaking anything, I want to be sure that at least I'm doing it the right way. Please answer if you do too own a Jacuzzi Thanks
  2. I finally got a call from the customer service coordinator at Beachcomber head office who's willing to take over the case from now on. That wont bring back my spa to its original state but at least, I will be able to skip the incompetent ones of my provincial office and/or local distributor if anything else occur. I would like to thank again Rabbit who did an important part in this outcome. Thanks also to this website which seems to be a powerfull tool when everything else have failed. I certainly will continue visiting it.
  3. A quick update about my case. I did send my S/N to Rabbit ( many thanks) who forwarded it to the customer service manager at the beachcomber head office. I was suppose to get news early this week but had nothing as of today. I will give them the benefit of the doubt ( vacation, etc) but will keep you posted if nothing occurs until next week. Sometimes silence can be very revealing...
  4. I'm also always fascinate to see how the buyer turns out to be the difficult one because he opens his mouth . When they told me: that will be $7800, sir, I laid down the check with a smile. But at that price I want something that works and dont worry, I can buy my own bromine, rubber duck etc. The dealer gave me a poor service from day one, the provincial Beachcomber's office who did the second and third leak repair would just forward my emails to the dealer and finally the Beachcomber's head office in Vancouver would do the same to the provincial office. After a while you come to the conclusion that they're only there to warm their seat. So when nothing works, you take what you can and spread the word. If that's brand bashing, well that's what it will be and excuse me if I thought forums were there to give a voice to ordinary customers with freedom of speach. If I want to buy a car and I see on a forum that Mr. X had a nightmare with a particular brand, I'll be thankfull that he shared it. Maybe I'll go with the brand that made its buyers happy. Finally excuse me if some sentences seems funny, I'm French speaking and dont master English yet.
  5. I'm so sorry if I have to work 12h shift and didn't had the time to come on the forum to see if I had replied about my tread. I replied to Rabbit in PM and told him that I already got in touch with Beachcomber Vancouver and no good came from it but if Rabbit thinks he could do better, I'll send him my serial in PM and we'll see . If he wants pictures, copies of emails sent, anything, I have a complete folder for that case GEES, some members are fast on judment
  6. I bought one of theirs in the automn of 2004 and asked them to deliver next spring. Since then it's a problem after another. First I asked for a 530 model at 30 in. height. They send me a 38 without informing me. Told me that the 30 in. model was available if you order it...I guess 6 months of waiting was not enough. 1 month after it been installed, it started to leak. By now they tried three times to fix it and I'm not sure this will be the last time. The contol board burned out this spring causing another 1½ week of waiting for the repair. The service given by the distributor or the head office is totally a joke. For the 15 months it been installed, I would guess that it been usable for 2. They cost a lot more than the competition but are worthless. I bought this spa for my back pain now it gave me a pain in the a** I'm now stuck with their crap but I will pass the word in every forum I can find Avoid avoid avoid...but if you like problems go get one Maybe a moderator will consider this as brand bashing but I think more of it as a hint for future buyer...weren't you glad when your parents warned you about putting your finger in the electrical outlet... Thank you A very impressed Beachcomber owner
