Sundance Remote

I own an '05 Sundance Cameo with the optional remote control. The remote recently quit working. I have changed the battery but the remote still does not function. However, when I aim the remote at either speaker the red speaker light blinks when pushing the remote's jet control buttons. The light blinks but neither the jets or audio function. I've also pressed the reset button located on the radio unit and that didn't help. Any ideas what the cause may be?

I know this is an old post and it won't help the OP but i had the same problem and thought it may help someone else to solve this.. To fix this just unplug the remote sensor from the rear of the radio and plug it back up again. simple. i think it resets something internally and it will work again!
