quantumchromodynamics Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 I would definitely go with the titanium or Cupro-nickel heat exchanger for corrosion protection, especially if the pool or hot tub will use bromine or a salt based chlorine generator. Quote
txpoolguy Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 CuproNickle is the best availale for Natural Gas or Propane heaters. Titanium is best for the electric heat pump/chiller. These materials are more resistant to the "normal" fluctuations in pH. The titanium is more resistant to stray current or electrolysis. Quote
