Just put $ down on a Rio swim spa

I just put some money down on a Rio Swim Spa, but am concerned about where we will have it for the winter. We plan to put it in our garage until spring. I'm concerned about mildew in the garage. Anybody have any experience with swim spas in an enclosed area and mildew? It's going to be ugly as heck just sitting on top of our concrete slab - no skirting, yuck. Hopefully it will serve it's purpose. Also, anybody have any experience with the Rio Swim Spa? A friend of ours has had one for about 6 or 7 years and loves it.

Thanks

A brief 1,2,3 on pool service I do my best not to leave a customer with out. I've owned my own pool service company for the past five years, servicing the San Fernando Valley Because I can't service your pool each and everyday there are several things you should look out for.

1.The first being Chlorine, your pool should receive chlorine on a daily basis. It can be done many ways the best and most convenient method is to use a Chlorine Floater with Slow Dissolving Chlorine Tabs inside. As long as you refill the floater weekly (or as needed) it should be hassle free and get the job done. you can also use the methods I've listed below... - Automatic Chlorinator - place 3 Inch Slow Dissolving Stabilized Chlorine Tablets in the skimmers once per week (every pool size comes with its own requirements) - manually add either Granular Chlorine or Quick Chlorine Tabs to pool skimmer every day - All methods of adding chlorine to the pool have their pros and cons. The simple floating chlorine floater is a time tested method and ensures that you always have a good chlorine level.

2.Always try and make sure your skimmer baskets are empty and clear of leaves or any other debris.

3.Your Pool Filter should run at least 8 to 10 hours per day. If you are not running your pool 24 hours per day, it's ideal to have it running during the day time.
