  1. The last time I was in a spa without a suit and a condom was over 2 yrs ago and now I have 1 1/2 year old daughter.
  2. Try soaking the jets in vinegar and water about a 50/50 mix for a few hrs.
  3. I worked for Artesian about two years ago for a year before i left to work at another dealer. Artesian has its shares of problems (leaking of lights, wait time for parts, pump problems) and although that caused a great amount of headaches for me, its definitly not as bad as some other brands i have seen and/or worked on. I dont believe artesian is the best, but it isnt the worst either. Wow, I have been selling these spas for 4 years now...we sell 300 tubs a year. I have less service calls on this brand than the other brand I sell. Yes waterway did supply them with some bad light lens that caused leaks. It was nothing to do with the manufactering of the spa. I only had 6 of the 120 + spas that I sold that had the dynabright that leaked. As far as the pumps go I have only 2 service calls for pumps. Artesian is a good spa.
  4. They have room to throw in the lifter.....I'll bet you if you go to them and tell them if they will include it they will take the deal.
  5. The 52 jet spa comes with 2 6 hp pumps. You are looking at a 07 model. Does it have wood or plastic skirt? I sell the same spa for $6595.00 ir includes steps and lifter. You are getting a good deal on this tub.
  6. It all depends on which model that you are looking at. A spa that has the same features that the one that you are looking at is the Platinum Line which I sell for around 8 k. Keep in mind as dealers we have no set price that we have to sell our spas for. So when a dealer tells you that he has to get a certian price for a tub I would personally think about who I am dealing with, but that is my opion!!!
  7. If I recall you are looking at the Pelican Bay right? I have one on my floor that only has the dynastar system.. With the lights turned off in my mood room it lights the spa fine. It also depends on wich color shell you want. I would recomend a light color. b. there is no dimmness to he lights. You can change the color of the lights and pick a color that is not to bright. It has the same light show as the dynabrite. How much is the dealer asking for the dynabright? He is asking $450.00 extra for the DynaBrite lighting option. However, he claims that the standard Dynastar lighting does not have a multicolored underwater light, that cycles though different colors automatically. Rather, he explained, the standard underwater light on the platinum-elite spas is just a plain white light, with a colored interchangable cover. He explained that if I want an underwater light show, which cycles colors automatically, I would need to pay the $450 to upgrade from the standard dynastar, to the dynabrite. Is he mistaken? Who is the dealer? The dynastar has one light that that chages color when all of the other lights change.
  8. All of the platium Elite Class of spas use a 6 amp switchless motor on the pumps with direct flow. They are also place under each seat area of the spa that is being used. The other brand of spas uses up to (3) 12 amp motor that makes a louder noise. There are no diverter valves that makes noise. I sell both Catalina and Artesian spas at my stores. The Artesian is far quieter.
  9. As I said hardwood....I was talking about mahogany cabnets on te Catalina Spas. They are less easier to care than redwwod or cedar.
  10. Did you look at the artesian spas? They are at Seahorse Pools and Spas. Look at the Piper Glen Or Dove canyon.
  11. As long as the spa is full foamed it doesn't matter wich skit you choose. The durawood (Artesian Spa) is a good cabinet. When you get to the cheaper cabinets such a jet plastic you will have problems with it fading and warping. The only wood that will last on a spa is hard wood.
  12. I got suckered into selling the same rebate in one of my stores. Thank God I only did it for a couple of months. The salesman from counsumer trust had a great sales pitch. We checked with our legal department and as a dealer we were not responsible of any claims. So I tried it. Then after a few months I stared to hear the stories about what was happening with some of the customers from other businesses so I stoped selling the program. I only had about 20 customers that I sold. When They came to me after C.T. went belly up. I refunded the money that they spent on the deal. As it was said over and over. If it sounds to good to be true..........
  13. There are a few deep seats it in. A freind of mine is 6'8 and that spa fit him the best.
  14. You may want to check out the Artesian Plecan Bay. It is 9' x 8' it has a deep lounger that should fit you along with a few deep seats in it, You may also want to check out the Catalina XL 6000 it is 42" in hight.
