  1. The tundra have 2 larges seats for tall one like me. 6'2. 250lbs. This the reason I buy this model. And he as lot of space to stretch our legs. He does not have a small hole to put feet like regular spas. Juste imagine, on the picture, I am not seated! I lift myself for the picture! When I am realy seated, I have water line 2 inch under my mouth. I like the big rotating jet on this seat around the neck. See the v shape of the jet configuration Artic spa Tundra model
  2. Nobody is outside except us. The stars are still there. Tranquility, relaxation and hot water. Our self made cabin is very useful to change and dry our self before and after the spa.
  3. Cub here - There is a button on your spa control that turns off the tub completely. This feature should be in your manual and I use it to change my filter without turning the breaker off. The tub must be off, otherwise the suction is too strong to move the filter basket.... It's right. I check my French manual and I found something I miss. But... The said to press the #3 button 5 seconds to put the spa in "wait mode" for 30 minutes. In the French guide they said the heater; filtering process can start during this period??? "Si le chauffe-eau est en marche lorsque le système est mis en veille, le cycle de filtration, le mode antigel et le chauffe-eau peuvent démarrer pendant cette période d'interruption." But I check the English version on the Arctic web site, and they said "... Heater, filter ... can't start during this period." The French guide is not well translated! TOM! You have a job to do!
  4. I am a new owner of a Tundra Legend. 1 month My spa is very great. Large seated place. Lot of place to move. Great body massages jet. Good quality. Ask me in 8 months for my impression of the winter time. Some small annoying bug: 1) The ON/OFF turning mechanism is too loose on the single 5" rotating jet and some other jet. Each time you enter in the spa, you need to check all the jets to be sure they are all open. 2) I have a loose jet that cannot stand in place. I need to exchange at my dealer. (Free of charge) 3) Some time I like to be in my spa without the motor ON. Silence and peace. But sometime, the motor #1 starts for the filtration sequence and I cannot stop it (Except to cut the breaker). Is there some way to stop it with the control panel? I am a happy custumers
  5. + Can you send me a link to the outdoor sealed bags? What a great idea. I have not buy the speaker for the moment. There another thread with link to exterior speaker.
  6. I live in Québec, Canada. The needs: 1) Privacy (very close neighbor) 2) Mosquitoes at night 3) Snow and wind in winter and rain the rest of the year 4) Want to see the star 5) Protection again very sunny days 6) A place to get undress (in winter) and to put towel (heater) 7) A shower near the spa. The solution I choose is an adaptable one. (Under construction) A) Build a permanent 10'x6'x7'H house next to the spa with hot shower, bench, towel heater, etc.... Build a permanent 10'x8'x8'H frame made of 4"x4" treated wood around the spa. C) Build removable wall for the spa frame (Made like the permanent wall of the cabin. See the picture). D) Build a sliding roof over the spa. (Made with 5 collapsing sections of 2' x 8' of hard plastic and wood frame.) E) Make a big mosquitoes nest made of white veil to fit in the frame. For the privacy also. F) Build a special rolling cover holder to easy remove the cover inside the frame.
  7. The price I paid 2 week ago in Québec... Deal for C$ 12000 for the LEGEND (first quote was 13150$ ) Including: 5" Castcore Mylovac Cover Microban Upgrade for Shell Arctic Pure Startup Kit Tru Guard Heater Upgrade 36" Steps Delivery and Setup Arctic Cover Lift "Forever Floor" Upgrade (Base) "Exotic Jet" Package All this thing was already include in the base price. (no option) The only option we can add was: sound system "Arctic" OZONE system "Peak" OZONE system "Northern Lights" package The price for the ozone was... C$ 400 - "Arctic" OZONE system C$ 1500- "Peak" OZONE system
  8. I think about this system: 2 outdoor speaker above the spa (in the roof of my futur spa house) 1 stereo amplifier in my house one 3.5 stéréo jack from my house to plug my MP3 player near the spa (inside an waterseal bag.) So I can control the volume and the song choice from the spa.
  9. That is the funniest single line I've ever heard. I mean, a million monkeys could type on a million typewriters for a million years and not come up with a funnier line. However, to answer the question.....we are Nekkies 99% of the time....however, never with company and never when we're expecting an oil delivery. I am a french speaking guy from Québec. Thanks to worldlingo translation software for this translated phrase.
  10. Personally I hate to have a bathing suit in a spa. And I think most of you do so. I was in the spa of an aunt yesterday. She also like to take It naked. She asked whether that disturbed us that it is put naked as usual. That did not disturb us. I am put naked too. But not my wife, that intimidated it. She kept her bikini. But what do you do with your guests. Do you ask them to be naked too? Exception? And in the presence of child?
  11. I will receive my Arctic Spa Tundra tomorrow with one "summer door" to evacuate the heat during the hot days (in Canada).
