Hello!

Is here anyone who could sell and ship a good Spa (Caldera, Jacuzzi, Hotspring) to germany? Is should be a export version with 230V AC 50 herz.

Because Spas are here very expensive and I think the shipment could not be so much expensive.

Or is this idea not good?

Greetings

Matthias

We do not ship to Europe, but our European customers ship the spas they buy from us to themselves.

We have conversion kits to put in to make them work on 50HZ.

How much power do you have, available for a spa. In Germany they have 380 Three Phase, so we have a special control box that uses all three phases.

Do you know how much is the shipment normally? Is this possible without visit US? Because the flight would be not cheap.

Yes you are right 380 Three Phase ist the best solution. With One Phase you can only get around 32-40 A.

We have done this several times because the customers call and ask us to do it. It is around $2000 to ship it to yourself. You will have to pay customs taxes on it when it arrives and that is still less than the lower quality spas you have available there.

The warranty is not much of an issue because our spas don't seem to have much in warranty. We test the spas for at least 24 hours of break in and all the parts are much higher quality than you see in common use in Europe. Keep in mind that these are not CE spas, but you can get them inspected and they pass every time.

We take off a lot of money for the warranty labor in the price of the spa, because it is impossible for us to take care of that. The parts are covered anywhere from 1 year to 7 years depending on the model.

The Haven Spas are made modular and are much easier to repair, and we use standard parts. We don't bastardize the parts so that you have to buy from us.

The equipment is easy to replace and has full access from all sides. We do not stuff the cabinet with foam, making leak reapairs a nightmare.

Here is what he really means. Let me paraphrase it a bit.

"Jim makes the best spas in the world and sells them in my "backyard" (territory) for less money, to customers that I would normally sell to. If Jim was not around, I could sell more of my mediocre hot tubs. I hate that bastard Jim Arjuna. "

Some jerk in Washinton and another one in Alabama tried to steal spas from us by using the credit card scam. (Which is now ilegal, by the way 2006). So we went and picked up the spas before they could move them to another location and steal them from us.

The jerks who run this board, all Hot Spring sales people, have blocked my web address. So,

type this in and don't bother to click on it. w w w . s p a s p e c i a l i s t . c o m / The_Erik_Scam

and read about these theives on the internet who try to steal from merchants.

Hi Matthias,

I am dealer of Hotspring in Belgium and would be glad to deliver the Spa you wish to wherever you want! These Spa's are completely adapted to 220-230V and we can do the complete placement for you if you wish. I don't know where you live in Germany, but the shipment will be in all cases less expensive as from the US! Also, warranty cases can and will be solved from our services, you won't be left alone with an overseas product.

About the prices, since the dollar is not in the best of chapes and our volume makes it possible to ship complete containers, I'm sure we can make an attractive offer.

Anyway, this is just a proposal..

The discussion about brands etc is a never ending story... and I don't want to say this or that brand is bettre or worse than the other; but you can always test a Hotspring here, and I can guarantee you a real 'Wellness Erlebnis' in our spa's!

la closière, I think you need to go read the other thread on Hot Spring and safety standards. I feel sorry for you. Really. Hot Spring violate the ANSI and UL standards. w w w . s p a s p e c i a l i s t . c o m / hotspringUL.html Type that in. Don't buy those death traps.

Golly gee, all I did was "speak" what you really meant.

We are the oldest spa company on the internet. We have oulasted them all, because of our customer loyalty. Not just 'satisfaction'. Our customers invite people over to look and test their own private spas, for no money at all. The do it because we are ethical and we are good people who care about how we relate to others. We follow the "Golden Rule".

We don't use any of those disgusting sales techniques or "closes" on people. We let them research the market and find out for themselves, then they come back (the smart ones) and buy from us. We don't have any gullible spa owners. We get the cream of the consumer crop. Smart seasoned shoppers.

Thank you for that. God has blessed me so much and each day I thank him in my prayers.

He has blessed me with so much. I am just so humbled by it all.

My life has been blessed with the best wife a man could ever have. The best children you could ever want, and a job that I really enjoy (more than any other job I have done). There is so much more that God has given me, not enough space or time to mention it all.

Thank you for your caring.

May God Bless you and your family as well.

If you are a true Christian, which I doubt, you would know that God does bless those who follow his laws, and who love Him with all their heart. It is not an accident that I am blessed, and I thank God every day for leading me on His path.

It is interesting that people who can't even use their real name and stand up like a man on these forums are always attacking my integrity. If you want to find out about my ethics and the producsts that are the results of that ethic, you need to contact my customers. They are all my friends.

It is because I stand up against all the lies used to sell inferior products for immoral profits that I am attacked by these ignorant people. Anybody with a brain should be able to figure that out. If you are smart, you will find out why these sales people are so angry with me, instead of believing their lies.

We don't have stupid Haven owners. They figure it out and the enjoy the best spas that have ever been made.

Hey Jim,

Here in Europe we treat our competitors with respect and sell a quality product with excellent reputation without bashing on the competitors products!!

Since you attack the Hotspring quality and safety standards, just check out this independent quality review:

http://www.poolandspa.com/page149.htm#H

Hotspring is part of the Masco group, which is known for it's high quality standards. Lots of investment is made to improve and research on a continual basis.

This is not just a local assembler who buys shells from a specialist and puts pumps, jets etc in in a garage.

Buying a modified cut rate barn yard tub from Jim is never a good idea. Buying one and shipping off to Germany is asking for trouble.

Simply research Jim Arjuna and his Spas. Research his company, his problems. His court actions, his disatisfied customers, there are websites documenting his problems, even his own site is listing problems that he can't get a handle on....unsafe pumps and suction fittings water care problems, no technicians available.... He has no service department. He can't get his tubs listed here in the states for ETL, UL or any saftery certifications. It's simpley a bad idea. Simply read through his post here over the past week or so and see the type of person you will be dealing with.
