jrk
I have been recently given a spa pool - I don't know how much water it holds but it's designed for 2 adults and three children and takes about 14 hours to heat up from cold. It's been professionally installed and is running well. My question is about electricity consumption. The spa is well used at weekends, but rarely during the week. Is it best to keep it running all the time or would it make more sense to turn it off during the week and then to heat it up again before the weekend? At what point does it make economic sense to turn the spa off if it isn't going to be used for a number of days? I would be grateful to hear from experienced spa owners who can help a beginner like me.
