SRQPG
I've had this issue ever since the pool was installed in my home 4 years ago. Using a Hayward HeatPro heat pump to heat pool & spa. It works fine, until there is either a blip in electricity (even lasting less than a second) or if the heater is manually turned off. When that happens, the pool heater will no longer turn on unless we climb up onto the equipment platform (6 ft high) and reset the controller using some weird combination of commands (attached). Our prior pool company (the installer) is out of business. He said that's just how they are (no wonder he's out of business). Our current pool company has no idea how to fix this. He comes once a week & if the heater isn't working he climbs up & resets it. (I can't climb up at my age (70's), so I have to wait for him. The last time he reset it(Friday), it heated for a few hours then stopped. Now it is not coming on again. Hayward has not been helpful. Anyone with similar experience/solution?
