Using Paint To Take Away Sharp Edges From Coping Stones?

Hi all, I'm finding that lilos and inflatable boats etc. don't last long in my pool due to the sharp edges of the coping stones surrounding the pool. Is there a paint or product that will help get rid of, or significantly tone down, the sharpness of the underside edges of the coping stones? I've included a photo below to show how they look. Ignore the green water - I'll be chlorinating the pool soon with summer on the way in New Zealand :-)

Also, especially if there's a suitable paint to use, what would be recommended for treating the moss growth on the edges of the coping stones before applying paint? Waterblasting doesn't seem to work very well.
