matt_s
I know it is not advisable to clean the micro filters with a filter cleaner, but what about taking them out and rinse away debris and maybe even cycle with another filter? Or can that in any way harm the micro filters?
spatech (the unreal one)
What brand? Sundance has an alternate to the micron filter for those who realize the added price for a disposable filter is not worth it so its its a SD ask and if the dealer doesn't know call the manufacturer to get the info. Those disposable mircon filters are not worth it IMO.
matt_s
It's an Artesian micron filter. The advice from the manufacturer is to let it be. Just wanted to know how others were doing with it.
spatech (the unreal one)
The advice from the manufacturer is to let it be. I'm sure it is. Ask your Artesian dealer or do some internet searching to see if there is an aftermarket filter that replaces the Artesian disposable fitler and saves you that recurring cost. Spa_Guru
In a lot of cases the micro filter is designed to fit an existing recess already made for a standard size. Go look at a Unicel RTL-50 and see if the demensions are equivelant.
