kennman475
Hello, My name is Russ, glad to be here. I have an inground pool that is approx. 27K gallons. It has a vinyl liner that is about 7 years old. I use baquacil with the AD system. My water is clear and I havn't had many problems except for a brown sandy like substance at the deepend of my pool. I have spent a lot of time brushing it to no avail. I've been told that it's a chemical imbalance that is causing it and once it's fixed, it will release itself from the liner. I've taken samples of my water to my local pool store and everything seems ok. They really aren't much help. I've added a couple pictures here to see if anyone has an idea of what I can use to get rid of it. The brown sand substance might be too small for the filter to pick up and it is recirculating it back into your pool.
