hobiecat
I just had a new fiberglass pool installed and after it was cleaned out we found some good sctarches and small chips on the bottom of the pool. It looks like the fibergalss may be exposed. Is there any danger in leaving the fiberglass exposed until the end of the summer or should it be fixed soon. I think it was caused by a combination all the stone that went into the pool while it was back filled and then vacuumed out. I don't suppose there is a method of repair that doesn't involve draining the pool? Thank you.
als2052
Could have been workers entering and exiting pool with their dirty shoes during installation.
RiverPoolsMarc
Hi Hobiecat. Sorry for your dilemma. The pool will be fine, so enjoy it for the rest of the season. General scratches can sometimes be buffed out but what your describing will necessitate the pool being drained. Good luck to you.
