We are going to wet test it this weekend. The man who owns it is the original owner but he does not have the Owners manual and cannot remember the exact year they bought it (he is elderly and I believe he is moving to Florida due to his health) Is there any way to determine the age of the hot tub by serial number or by looking inside the guts? The 1st letter is the model (G - Grandee, GQ - Grandee Quarite) the 1st number is the Quarter it was built the letter after the 1st number is the year G4C1765 - Grandee 4th quarter 2001 In 1999 they started using letters to designate the year so: A = 1999. If yours is prior to 1999 it would look like G151574 - 1st quarter 1995 Grandee. The other numbers are where it was built and the number of spa. Pre 1989 didn't use this serial number sequence.
