sdriv
So we lost power from a snow storm on thursday. So it has been four days with no power and the tub only dropped to 85 degrees so I was happy. Now my question is do I need to drain and refill or can I shock or super shock and still use my water? The water itself is only a few weeks old and with 30" of snow it may be a tough proposition. Thanks all

The other guys can chime in if they think it's bad (I'm still a little bit of a noob), but I shocked some water when mine went down to 0 PPM for a few days as well. kiamo
Depending on how cold it was you may find leaks with pipes, pumps, etc. from no circulation even with the bulk of the water being warm. But I'm assuming that would become quickly apparent.
sdriv
I gues I stumped the panel. 115 views and only 2 replies. Oh well. I shocked it and tested. water is balanced I'm gonna take a dip.
quantumchromodynamics
You should be fine as long as the water chemistry has been properly maintained and the chlorine level was good when you lost power. Watch for combined chlorine or bad smells. As long as the water looks and smells good and there are no CCs, you should be fine.
