Mark Davis
I was wondering if anyone knew of a system that would allow me to place a probe in the water and have a computer monitor the water? Of course, I will get a taylor K-2006/K-2106 as well. Thanks, -mark
Yadkin
I'm looking for something similar. I have a tiger river with an IQ 2020 panel and want to be able to turn the temperature up or down from my computer. Does anyone know of an interface board that can do this? Thanks, -mark I use this software to monitor temperatures in my cabin which is a two hour drive from here. http://www.homedomination.com/temp.html The sensors are little chips that carry their own serial number and have three pins that you'll have to solder onto a CAT 5 cable. They are not waterproof but you can attach them to the outside of a pipe inside the cabinet then cover with some insulation to read temperature there. Mark Davis
One option that I use to monitor temp/humidity of my wine cellar is: T&D's RTR-5W (web server and wireless receiver) + T&D's RTR-52/53 http://www.microdaq.com/tandd/rtr-5/rtr-52.php But they are VERY spendy... I was also hoping to monitor more than just temp...I really wanted to montor chlorine level in real time...that would be super interesting...
