Vermonter
How do you know your MPS levels are too high? It seems to me unless you are shocking daily or something it shouldn't be an issue. Depending on usage, a couple of ounces once every week or two should be fine... strange that all of a sudden people are concerned about this, I've never heard this concern before. Anyone else? Nitro
I'm with Vermonter. Why the concern about MPS levels? If it's high just stop adding it. It will just stay in the tub until it's used up.
quantumchromodynamics
Here is a test kit to determine your MPS levels. This procedure will selectively determine free chlorine, combined chlorine, and monopersulfate (not persulfate). To determine monopersulfate it is first necessary to determine both free and combined chlorine, if present.
