Considering The Jacuzzi J-365

Hi all,

We’ve been looking around at spas for a few months now and are seriously considering the Jacuzzi J-365. I’m wondering if anyone else in this group has this tub and what their experience with it has been.

Also, I’m in Atlantic Canada and I’d be very interested in hearing from any other Canadians with this spa regarding their operating costs during our cold winter months.

Thanks in advance.

We live in Calgary. Our neighbor owns the 365 and we own the 470. Basically the same tub except for a couple extras. The 365 is the best bang for the buck hot tub Jacuzzi has to offer. The 365 costs about $17 a month to run (chemicals, electrical, water) and our 470 costs us about $23. Seeing that they're basically the same tub I figure we just use our tub more and that's why we're spending more. We use it about 1-1/2 hrs daily, more on the weekend. I'm expecting about a $10 increase in Winter as we have only had the tub thru the summer.

Thanks for the response, that was exactly what I was hoping to see. I just got the quote back from the electrician and now I'm waiting on a quote from the concrete guy for the pad. We're hoping to be in our 365 within a couple of weeks.

I was looking at the J-365 too. But i ended up ordering the J-345 due to the cost differance. If you dont mind me asking , what were you quoted on a 365? My dealer quoted me an extra 1000.00 from the 345 to the 365.

We're in Canada, and our prices tend to be higher than US from what I can see. The quote included an Ozonator, Circ Pump, Cover, Chemical Starter Kit, Delivery to my site, and start up instruction. - $8900.00

We considered the 345, but the 365 seemed to have similar inner workings to the 470 (which we loved except for the lounger and price tag).
