Please can anyone tell me whether the PC-101 home swimming pool water (pH/Cl2) tester described in the link below (and elsewhere) can be used to find bromine concentration by applying the usual 2.25 multiplier to the chlorine ppm?

Hello and thanks for your response! Does that mean that you have used the stated probe to measure bromine instead of chlorine? You see, I am not sure of the scientific basis for the probe operation. I am concerned that it may be chloride ion specific. I know that several people use chlorine test strips to test bromine, from which they successfully apply the 2.25 multiplier so I guess there is a chance it would be OK. I would appreciate more detailed follow up from you on this question as I have not deiscovered anyone else using this particular electrical probe to measure bromine concentration.
