Aranon
Does anyone know a good heavy duty solar reel. I don't want one with plastic bearing. Perferably stainless steel bearings that is easy to roll up and unroll. I want to mount it permently on my fence which is about 3 to 4 feet away from the end of the oval. I have a 18 x 40 oval and man is it hard to roll up the bubble cover at night and unroll it during the day. Please help. Aranon

Not all folks carry them, yet its just what you describe. No matter what, at 40' nothing short of commerical reels really hold up.

Aranon I am in the design stage of my pool and one of the things that I wanted to incorporate is a pool cover. I am going the automatic route though, because otherwise I just won't want to go out there or if it's uncovered I won't want to cover it. The only company that I found that had what I wanted is Cover Pools. They are a little on the pricey side but I have a two year old and we're going to have more so from a safety perspective it is worth it to me. They have dealers all over, so here is their contact info: www.coverpools.com 800-447-2838 Hope that helps.
