jrz_dad
Hello - I need some advice. We own a fiberglass pool; about 15'x30' & 8ft deep. We are currently experiencing an issue that we've never experienced before. To make a long story short: After running the pool pump for several hours, once we shut off the pump, we get this tremendous GUYSER of water spewing/shooting out of the skimmer basket - in fact, it blows off the cover and to be honest, its quite impressive but thats not why we have a pool. The very first time it happened, we figured it got some air in the system so we "burped" the system till the pump and jets ran normally - but after a few hours of running, it does it again. This problem is repeatable so we're really at a loss here on how to proceed. We've owned the pool for several years and this is the first time we've experienced this problem. What would cause this to happen? Where do we begin? Any advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
Andy
Wow! What a cool pool feature! Either the one way check valve from the pump A) is clogged with debris never was installed C) was installed backwards
