  1. Hi all. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction before I take this spa to the tip. I have a Hot Springs Vanguard spa (Australian/NZ) model. Not sure of the year it is as the model number doesn't seem to match anything. V29996? I purchased it second hand 2 years ago and it has always worked until now. It now has a flashing green light and the spa is not heating properly. What I have tried so far. Removed the main filter, Replaced the Hi limit thermister and control thermister I have checked the flow and there are plenty of O2 bubbles and water flow coming into the spa Also to note the external control panel (the one you access from in the spa) has never worked and the MOTO-MASSAGE jets have never worked I am not sure what I should be looking at next to replace. Has anyone has this issue before and fixed it?
  2. First time owner... I have an older Coleman Tahoe that has a Balboa BOARD MAAX 460 EL2000 M3 control board. My issue started with a HoT error a few days ago that reset itself once it cooled down... Except it clearly wasn't overheated, it was cool. Eventually it reset itself once it seemed to cool down and read the correct temp. A few days later there was a low level alarm but topped it off and it cleared. Then yesterday found an OHH error, that won't clear. Pump 1 will run on low for a few minutes but nothing changes on the display, still just flashing OHH. No buttons respond on the display. Tried pulling temp sensors to get them to reset, but no response. Waiting for Balboa to respond with and instruction/ white sheets for troubleshooting but need some help knowing what direction to go or how to do a manual reset.
  3. Hi there, I have aquired a Chinese unbranded hot tub that is approx 8 years old. It had been standing drained and unused, for approx 6 months before we got it but was assured it worked before being drained. After making all the electrical connections it was tripping the RCD. I have disconnected all the pumps and heater from the relay board and the control panel now powers up fine. I have however tested the relays with a multimeter and it appears that they are stuck on closed (powered). I have concerns that the pumps ( Whirlpool LP200) are also faulty as they appear to have continuity on the cables feeding them between Phase and neutral - I assume this is incorrect however all pumps as well as the heater test like this??? Note - the cable that feeds the heater appears that it may have got hot in the past inside the control box as it had become brittle. This shad now been cut back ready for reterminating. Do I need new pumps / heater all round or am I missing something?? Thanks Sam
  4. So my Jandy Heater has the Shorted H20 Sensor fault - does this mean the pressure switch has gone bad? Is this easy to replace? Jandy LRZ 400ep Thanks!
