  1. i am a vinyl liner installer looking to build a quality pool. i am located in omaha nebraska. i will travel but not to far over the summer months. we are extreamly busy and will have to set a time to build. i sub contract also. i have no overhead and minimal costs. can save you alot of money. i have been doing this for a long time and have many pictures and references. please respond if you have any questions or concerns. thank you
  2. Hi Carrie! I am also thinking of a pool in Colorado.. I was wondering who you got the quote from? I have only found two companies that are advertising in ground pools and am in the process of getting quotes. Just curious if you had pursued the pool any further. Thanks! i would ask you the same question. dont hesitate to contact me
  3. hi there. ever give any thought to a vinyl liner pool. i am only cross the border in nebraska. i have many different shapes, sizes and depths to suit whatever you want. i have a crew and we travel to build also. if it is something you are interested in or would like to ask any questions. feel free to write or email me. mangia001@yahoo.com. the vinyl liners are perfect for colorado weather. will last you a very long time with very low upkeep and cost you alot less than that. hope to hear form you soon
  4. yes i agree. the concrete last a very long time but take alot more maintanence to keep looking good. the liners have come along way now and are more durable. with the salt generators the chlorine is not as harsh on the liner anymore. this makes a huge difference. i was also talking of the cost. to only have to spend a few thousand after 10 or more years is not as much as fxing a concrete pool. as for the fiberglass, i can only speak for nebraska. but if something happens like most of what i have seen, then it is a very expensive fix.i have seen nothing but probllems here. maybe the cold weather has something to do with that. not really sure what the reason is here. but have seen more than my share of ruined backyards due to them.the vinyls have changed quite a bit and have been very durable in cold and hot weather. i am looking to network and build more. i have no overhead and a very good system. saving money and building a very durable and self maintaining pool is what i can offer. no headaches, and minor upkeep....
  5. i am looking to build over the winter months....we can travel if not too far and bring these longlasting, self cleaning, and beautiful pools to you. a vinyl liner is the way to go. they dont crack. they can be patched under water with the same liner, never even see the patch. when the liner fades and ages after 10 to 20 years. just a minor amount to replace the liner and the pool looks brand new again. the fiberglass(polymer) walls never rust, mold, or deteriorate. they are durable and sturdy. my plumbing is second to none. can install jets, waterfalls, slides, love seats with jets, chlorine or salt water systems, heaters, and almost standard on all pools now a pool cleaner. so simple, just plug into a return and turn on the booster pump. let the car drive the entire pool cleaning whenever you want. always keeps the pool clean.any water features. or extras. volleyball, basketball, umbrellas, bar seats. the systems are simple to use and maintain. many different shapes sizes, from zero entry to as deep as you want it. can do sport bottoms, lap pools, diving, wedges, v bottoms, flats. the bottom is poured with a vermiculite. pool crete. this is hand troweled and then buffed to a smooth finish. the crete does not expand or contract with extream temperatures. can last through cold winters and hot summers. then after the bottom and walls are set, we vacuume a liner into the entire pool. many different patterns and looks.fill and cut everything in. these pools are wonderful and i challenge anyone to tell me different. i am a sub-contractor and will be looking to leave nebraska over the months of december to february.if i have ideal weather, and average pool will take me 7 to 10 days to finish. i do not do finished concrete, but will be there to supervise. make sure everything is poured around the pool correctly. the total project from start to finish (weather permitting) should not take more than 2 to 3 weeks. if interested and want to talk. you can reach me here or on yahoo. mangia001@yahoo.com... I have many pictures and can give you a ruff estimate of the instulation process.... the work out all the other things you will need to have ready. i am sure even with my travel expenses i will save at least $10,000. and there is no shortage of work. i have many references and actuall customers that can be contacted. not one unhappy customer. If anyone does not agree with me or would like to know more about vinyl liners dont hesitate to speak up. i will answer any questions or get into any discussion about my process. i also recommend that you stay away from solid fiberglass tubs, pools. the whole units have not been succesful. these pools have had nothing but problems. there is no way to install these good. i cant tell you how many i have seen emptied and pop the concrete finish around the pool. or settle and drop the finished concrete. i have seen them crack and break in half. i have seen nothing but problems. sorry to all installers, but i think they are jusnk. even though thats my opinion, i must speak it. hope to hear from anyone......... thank you for reading gary FTW INC
  6. i am a contractor trying to make the move to corpus. i have been installing vinyl liners for over 10 yrs. hese pools are the best way to go. they are completely self sufficient and clean themselves. they can withstand extream heats and colds. when they age alls you need is a new liner most of the time. then it looks brand new. no need to acid wash or resurface. paint tile nothing........ one new liner and the pool looks new again. i would like to come down during the winter months and build in texas....also build a relationship with a reputable contractor there. this would make the transition easier....i have alot to offer. i am bringing my own crew, tools, and skidloader. we have a very good system and can build from dig to finished concrete ready in 7 to 10 days on average. i have many pictures, references if needed. not one unsatisfied customer. i would appreciate a response from some builders. thank you gary
  7. i am not sure why they do not. the pool crete tht i use in nebraska is soft and does not expand or contract with extream colds and heats. the vynal liner will fade with time, but after 10 yrs. then you put a new liner in and it looks like a brand new pool. it is the right way to go. if your still looking for a builder, i have a crew that travels out of state for the winter. we are going to corpus but we could swing through arizona on our way. if interested we can talk more. i have built vinyl liner pools for 10 yrs now. i am trying to move to the south. these pools are better in the long run and i want to bring what i do to the south. where there are no winters. the winters shut us down for 4 months. if interested contact me at mangia001@yahoo.com go with the vinyl. you wont be dissappointed. try the salt chlorinators. water is softer and less chlorine.
  8. i am a contractor out of omaha ne. i am looking to make the move to corpus christi in a couple years. i would like to establsh a relationship with a reputable company there. i have been building vinyl liner swimming pools for 10 years. we do everything from instullation to plumbing, fiberoptics, any inpool lighting, waterfeatures, waterfalls, pondless waterfeatures, jets, vanishing edges, slides, and any other accessory. i would really like to find a company that can sub some work during the winter months until i can make the move there. i have down time in dec to feb. this is the time i am looking to come to corpus and get established. than i could take the bussiness relationship further. i have a very good reputation and not one unsatisfied customer. i have many pictures and references if needed. i have a three man crew that is coming with me. bringing all my tools and skid loader. the only thing i do not have is a back hoe for the initial dig. we do not do the finished concrete. we can build an average 20 X 40 diving in 7 to 10 days. we have a very good system and work very well together. i am eagerly awaiting a response. you can also reach me at mangia001@yahoo.com. or if you would like to contact me at 402-505-2373. i can answer any questions and send any pictures if needed. thank you gary
