  1. Hi, I had to replace the main board. After consulting with a local technician we came to conclusion this was due to the thunderstorm I few nights before. Quite normal defect after current spikes in the grid. good luck
  2. The relay for Heater clicks two time during start up, is that normal? see my videos on my OneDrive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-BP4HotD0XzLJwLzVNFXFyKOcACAkFYz
  3. Hi, I’m having problems with my terrace pool running Balboa system. When starting up I get the message ”HTR TOO HOT” ”PRESS BTTN TO RESET” but nothing happens when pushing the buttons. IMG_1545.MOV After a few minutes the pump starts for 10-20 seconds, and then stops. It’s a good flow at the inlet nozzle and okey suction from the two outlet strainers. I got this troubleshooting guide from my dealer https://www.balboawatergroup.com/getdoc.cfm?id=1799 Followed and measured according to pages: Page 21: fuses F3 0,1A = 11,3 Ohm a bit high??? F5 1A = 0 Ohm F6 30A = 0 Ohm Page 24 heater resistance Measures 19,9 ohm, a bit high compared to page 21 table ”ACCEPTABLE HEATER OHM (Ω) RANGES” but okey if I compare to table ”HEATER MATRIX”. What is correct? Page 25 Same as instruction = ok Page 28 voltage over fuse F6 Same voltage on both side of fuse = ok Page 30 voltage over heater No voltage detected. But the heater usually doesn’t start directly when pump start so maybe not a problem??? Page 34 test of sensors Don’t really understand this part. I have switched the sensors on the main board, but same problem starting up system. I have measured: Sensor A (J17): 22,79 kohm Also measured on the board pins (system off): 22,7 kohm Voltage over sensor (system on): 1,67 V Sensor B (J16): 22,77 kohm Also measured on the board pins (system off): 23,1 kohm Voltage over sensor (system on): 1,69 V According to table on page 21: ~22 kohm -> 90F. Since I had 99 F in the pool at that moment I thought this was the problem, sensors gong bad, and if I lower the temp below 90 F the system will start. But no luck, added cold water until I reached 85 F. Still same problem when starting up the system. Any idea what to do?
