Okay gents found a new leak over the last month or so. I thought it leaking fittings, nope. Opened up the power unit and found this. Cleaned it up and reinstalled filling right now. Has anyone else come across this? My guess is heating cooling cycles opened it up to leaking over time I've had running since last July.
Take care
There is no valve. It is one elbow fitting at the bottom going to another at the top, with a crappy plastic pipe. It has nothing to do with water circulation, my hypothesis is that on the higher end units with WIFI that it was water level sensor location.
Look through this thread it will explain what to do. You have seal up the two fittings that are broken and leaking. As far as the water in the liner I tipped mine up until the air inlet was at the lowest point and emptied as much water as I could out.
You also need to remove the plastic housing at the top of this picture and this hole fill with sealant and puth housing back on. The two are attached by a cheap hose that is brittle and breaks. The second picture shows the broken hose.
I plugged both fittings. There is no way to attach the tubing back. These fittings serve no purpose on this model liner and so the manufacturer just put tubing from the top to the bottom.
So far so good I caulked both fittings, and let dry. Air'd the liner back up and it is holding air again. Gonna let it sit dry for a few days to make sure it holds air.
Hi I have a Saluspa Barbados pirchased in Jan 2022 had a similar failure last month. Your post was most helpful that opening goes up to a fitting above the outlet. Bestway used a incorrect material hose that cracks and breaks. Mine just crumbled when I fished it out of the liner. I'm sealing both ends with caulking and then reinflate to see if it leaks.
